Coverage for The Thin Air and Kulbritania.
A hectic run of gigs to get in the groove of what might be a busy Summer? On the first 6 days of May I had the chance to cover:
Sprints, Really Good Time & Adore at the Workman’s Club (as part of the Heineken Greenlight series), different vibes but a raw element to all sets that really connected with the room;
The Royston Club and Arkayla playing a sold-out Academy, to a crowd that really brought the energy;
Delivery Service with an in-store performance at Spindizzy to celebrate the release of their EP ‘Five Songs’;
Super Furry Animals back in Dublin after 10 years, at my favourite venue (the iconic Olympia), with support from rabid duo Getdown Services. Undoubtedly, one of the best shows I’ve seen this side of the Atlantic.
